It is a 2003 Balfa BB7 with 9 inches of rear travel.
Nice looking and a nice price for an 2002
I used to have a set of Tuff rims. They blew apart when I hit a curb.
Your forks are not the only thing that is 2002. That is a 2002 frame.
If you want to educate yourself about your bike. http://www.balfa.wooyek.pl/balfa-bb7-model-history.html |

That's right. It guides the chain away from the tire. Commonly found on race bikes.
Wrong answer!!
It's not a roller, rollers move. It a chain guide. It keeps the chain in line with the pulley. |
Tell me what you call the black plastic piece before the pulley? You seem so technically inclined
Wonder what that is like in the wet?
Nice job on the pic and good deal on the price!
Niceeeeeee!!! My favorite color frame.
In the description he says its 8.75" long
2004 look like this
http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/2538778/ Note the front of the frame. Rocky mountain added metal behind the head tube at the bottom of the frame. |
I'm liking that color. Did you make the retro Balfa stickers?
You can ride mine next year at Whistler
I know someone who has a 2005 BB7 prototype for sale. |
Very nice! All you need is the floating brake and you're set.
Nice 2004 BB7. I always like that color, wish mine was silver
They are Kenda Nevegals. In Canada we call them tires.
The sizes they made were short, medium and long.
Nice 2003 frame. Don't see too may orange ones
Nice looking. Too bad about the front forks and seat.
I cant really see that head tube...........but I swear that is a 2003 frame.
Nice 2003 BB7. Very similar to mine.
Down to one Balfa and a broken Kona in the background.
Monster's are heavy and dated. If that were my bike I would put on a 6" single crown fork. Or save your money and get another bike.
I just sold one of those 2001 BB7s for $800 complete. Kinda steep price your asking.
